I have known Eli personally for over 30 years. We went to middle school together and played on the same youth soccer team, so I always knew when it was time for me to buy a home, I had a friend in the real estate business. I had reached out to him casually over the recent 5-10 years with general questions about the market, and when my wife and I finally were ready to buy a home in Oakland I went straight to Eli and Red Oak. His experience, knowledge, professionalism, and responsiveness exceeded my already high expectations! He always responded to our inquiries in a timely manner, and provided helpful guidance on what to look for in disclosure packets, offer strategy, and he helped us zero in on our desired neighborhood. After being outbid on our first offer, we found a home that had been lingering on the market in an ideal location for us, with charming features. When we asked Eli if it would be worth a shot making an offer on the house even though the asking price was out of our range, he said it was worth a shot. Miraculously, Eli worked with the sellers' agent to get our offer accepted at more than $50k under asking price. It was a long shot and in the end we were quite happy! I would definitely recommend Eli to friends or others looking to buy a home in the east bay. He's awesome, hard working, and just a great guy to work with.
